The worksheets in the BAH workbooks differ from most other worksheets in that they don't have any written instructions for the children who work out for themselves what to do. Usually written instructions are difficult for the student to read or comprehend and need the teacher to explain, which defeats the object somewhat. Any instructions you see are mainly for new teachers who may not be familiar with workbooks. The worksheets are very child-centered and although primarily designed for homework they are also ideal for use in class when you need to slow the class down a little and consolidate or work with children individual.

These worksheets have been designed to support and consolidate the materials and skills found in ‘New Finding Out’ (NFO) 1 by David Paul; 'Concept Worksheets 1' covers units 1 through 9 and 'Concept Worksheets 2', units 10 through 15. The order of introduction in BAH's Concept Worksheets makes a steady progression from simple to complex and matches perfectly the order found in NFO. Initially, it may be best to introduce and use some of the worksheets in the classroom, but once your students have grasped what to do, then you can safely give them for homework.
