Her sister died mysteriously after she got engaged. There is no reason for her death. The only clue is her sister’s last words: the speckled band. She died two years ago. Helen Stoner is now engaged. She’s worried for her life. She has come to Sherlock to save her life and find out what happened to her sister. He’s her only hope.
