The animals on the Manor farm grew tired of their pitiful lives working for the farmer, Mr. Jones, and one day they finally drove him and the farm's humans out. After this rebellion, the animals began to live for themselves, and soon they had a good life with no need for food or rest. However, while the pigs at first agreed to be the new leaders of the farm, things slowly deteriorated as some of the pigs were smart enough to come up with some good ideas. This famous story by George Orwell, which warns of the dangers of autocratic leadership, suggests a problem that is still relevant today.
