This set of two books is specifically designed to provide practice in the rhetorical modes while integrating instruction with readings, grammar and critical thinking skills.
Focus on Writing Book 1, an intermediate-level programme focusing mostly on paragraph development, introduces students to the conventions of writing. Focus on Writing Book 2, beginning with a review of the paragraph, guides students to write with greater depth and complexity on a range of topics in the context of the essay.
